Red Frogs Australia have run sessions and have trainers available in most
locations throughout Australia to work with your Residential Advisors, Tutors,
Student Clubs and even Staff members in your college or hall.
Red Frogs offer a training package comprising of a session on youth and student
culture as well as drug and alcohol issues related to these environments. In
these sessions, we detail statistics and patterns representing a snapshot of
student culture in Australia and major issues affecting residential colleges and
halls including peer pressure; binge drinking and associated issues; and the
alienation of moderate and non-drinkers in college events. We then focus on
creative alternative programming options for generating successful non-alcohol
driven opportunities in the college environment.
Along with these sessions, Red Frogs offers workshops on topics including
Strategic planning for O-Week and college programming. Student leadership
development is another area covered, focusing on the principles that people
won’t always do what you say but they might do what you do and the need to
become the change you want to see as well as the importance of long-term
thinking and leaving a legacy.
We can also source motivational speakers, including sports celebrities such as
Eric Bailey, and speakers on specific drug and alcohol issues if required. Red
Frogs are often heavily booked in preparation week and during the student club
changeover process so remember to book early to ensure your training session.

Red Frog trainers are very sought after and experienced as Red Frogs Australia
recruits and trains over 2000 volunteers around Australia and New Zealand each
year.
Training sessions cost between $200 and $400 but may be provided to colleges and
halls on a donation basis. Depending on budgets, trainers can be sourced
locally in most regions to lower costs. We are however, committed to
development in universities in Australia and will donate our time if required.
